Yes. I DID just quote Citizen Cope for a jump line. You want to know why? Because he's friggin awesome. I think I'm going to grab my trusty Ipod and put that song on now.

There, my day and attitude just took a turn for the better. It's and amazing thing what happens when a person is motivated by a good beat and smooth lyrics. I have to thank my best friend and ex lover for introducing me to Citizen Cope. She has such wonderful taste in music.

Now that I think about it, most of the music I listen to she introduced me to. Which for the first few months after she broke my heart I couldn't listen to ANY of my music. After being togtehr for so long, every song on my ipod I had associated to her.

This may be why my brand new Ipod sat on the shelf for 3 or 5 months.

Then I missed her so much I started listening to the music again. It no longer made me sad. It reminded me of the good times we had.

You may find me pathetic for holding onto these memories and even to this girl.

I simply argue that she was not only my lover but my very best friend. She knows me better than anyone and I know her better than anyone. We used to joke that we knew each other better than we knew each other.

ANYWAY...

So she's living her life and I'm hanging in there. Waiting. Waiting for what? I'm not sure.

I've passed up chances to hook up with girls. No huge sacrifice there, sense it was my inability to pass them up that fucked me in the first place.

I still have friends that are girls, some of which I could probaly be with if I played my cards right.
